My name is Ryan A. Quick and I am an author and illustrator.  When I was twelve years old, I was diagnosed with autism which hasn't stopped me from doing the things I really like such as cycling. 

 

For a number of years I have been drawing and illustrating by free hand. My first book, "Speeding By the Dozen" is about the adventures of 12 teens on a cross country race involving 4 Nascars, 4 motor cycles, and 4 Indycars.  My second book, “Foreign Adventures: The Lost Golden Pen”, is about Ryan Kim and his friends on their international adventures in Russia, Germany, Italy, Libya and Greece. In addition to writing and illustrating, I enjoy rollerblading, doing yo-yo tricks and I taught myself German and currently immerse myself in the Russian language.
